Wrap style diaper cover made of naturally colored virgin wool fiber. Parents love this Mumtaz original design, as it's easy on and off. This diaper cover has ties and loops in order to keep it secure. It can be used over a prefold or fitted cloth diaper.
This is a quick-felting wool. Meaning, with moisture and friction, the fiber will thicken, enhancing it's performance. Soft cotton trim was added to reduce skin irritation.

Since wool is a natural fiber, it has inherent anti-microbial properties and can be simply aired out in between changes. Some people go 2-3 weeks in between washing. Care of soakers includes hand washing in cool water after soiling, followed by laying flat to dry. Frequent washing may result in the wool becoming felted and thicker, which only increases it's functionality.
No commercial patterns are used at Mumtaz Creations, and all items are carefully hand-stitched (usually while nursing our own babe). These soakers have a natural lanolin content and are ready for wear!
