Cloth diapering simplified. These hand-stitched "shortie" soakers are made of 100% colorfully hand-painted (dyed) wool. Our custom soaker design is created to fit your baby longer, giving him room to grow and move. This soaker is full of nearly every shade of green, making it easy to coordinate a shirt.
This wool is highly absorbent and suitable for day or nighttime use. These can also be used as shorts over a disposable diaper for extra leak protection.

These soakers have excellent stretch, yet will tighten up again with occasional hand washing. With use, the material will begin to "felt" or become tighter and thicker, which only enhances its performance.
Since wool is a natural fiber, it has inherent anti-microbial properties and can be simply aired out in between changes. Some people go 2-3 weeks in between washing. Care of soakers includes hand washing in cool water after soiling, followed by laying flat to dry.
No commercial patterns are used at Mumtaz Creations. With the hand-painted nature of this fiber, you can rest assured these are the only ones of their kind. Soakers can be lanolized free of charge before shipping, just make a note when you check out.
